Athletic ReAction Drills (App6)

The Athletic ReAction Drills App allows coaches and athletes to hone their reactions to different cues with and without using the Anticipation RED LEDs used with other Apps. This can be useful for those sports that rely more on reactions than on anticipated movement.

Features include:

  • Three levels of difficulty (Slow, Medium, Fast).
  • All drills are user selectable as Closed (repeatable) or Open (Random) patterns.
  • Operation is user selectable between ReAction or Anticipation Drills (i.e. Vertical RED LED sequence to alert athlete when to rise into the air)

Drills Include:

  1. Bounds => LEFT, MIDDLE, RIGHT (L, M, R).                         
  2. Quick shuffle => LEFT, RIGHT (L, R).
  3. Sprint Outs => FORWARD-LEFT, FORWARD, FORWARD-RIGHT (F-L, F, F-R).
  4. Quick Hips => LEFT, RIGHT (L, R).
  5. Scramble => FORWARD, BACK, RIGHT, LEFT (F, B, R, L).
  6. Short Scramble (faster version) => (F, B, R, L).
  7. Star => FORWARD, FORWARD-RIGHT, RIGHT, BACK-RIGHT, BACK, LEFT-BACK, LEFT, FORWARD-LEFT (F, F-R, R, B-R, B, L-B, L, F-L).
  8. Short Star (faster version) => (F, F-R, R, B-R, B, L-B, L, F-L).
